Pope Francisco said when being interviewed about his opinion on gay marriage, abortion, and gay rights that “It is not necessary to talk about these issues all the time” because “The dogmatic and moral teachings of the church are not all equivalent. The church’s pastoral ministry cannot be obsessed with the transmission of a disjointed multitude of doctrines to be imposed insistently.” I think he is really not reading and studying the Bible, if that’s what he’s supposed to do, because if he did he would know that those issue ARE important. Why? Beause they are extremely affecting our society and its something affecting Christians and non-Christians as well. It does matter because we should strive to eliminate those type of behaviors and decisions; they are not biblical, and God does not approve it. Women are women, men are men, and NOBODY has the right to take away a life. Our job is to preach Christ for them to be unveiled to see things as they are and assume responsabilities (in case of abortion).
